Hello,
i can' have my *.m3u files read by foobar2000 v. 0.9
the file icon won't change though it did for *.pls files

i've already linked m3u to foobar2000 in file types, and tried to always read m3u files with foobar2000.

is the new foobar2000 still able to read m3u files?

even restarting the pc will not enable it

Thanks

Yes, foobar2000 0.9 still supports M3U playlists. You can simply enable the M3U file type association at 'Preferences > File types'.

If this doesn't work for you, another app seems to steal the file type association.

i need to check itunes pref. to be sure ... well i can't find anything about file association in itunes software.
i changed already the windows m3u file type to be read by foobar , it does not work anymore.

also something i do not understand : i haven't got .mpc file type available anymore in file type association dialog box  ... i used to and read it with foobar2000 perfectly

Can you please post a screenshot of 'Preferences > File types'? I'm pretty sure that MPC is listed there.

APE is Monkey's Audio's file extension.

Please try to have a look at the forums you're using here. There is a search function and the first topic in the third-party plugins sub-forum lists the components which are already ported to foobar2000 0.9.
