CD-Text from FLAC w/ embedded cue?

CD-Text from FLAC w/ embedded cue?

I just burned a FLAC album file that had an embedded .cue using foobar with the foo_burninate.dll plugin.

I usually use Nero which burns FLAC files but in this case there was no stand alone .cue file.

1) Other than copy paste is there a way to export the .cue file from the album.flac tag into a stand alone .cue file? It there was I could burn with Nero and check CD-Text as part of the burn.

2) Is there a way to get foobar to burn CD-Text, in general, and specifically from the Song Titles that are in the embedded .cue file?

Foobar sees the track titles because when you PLAY the file in foobar it shows up like it was individual song.flac files.

3) Luckily for me the resulting burnt CD was recognized by Roxio Jewel Case Creators CDDB.com album lookup, so I have a Jewel Case without having to type in song titles. If this had not happened, I'd be dead in the water without CD-TEXT.

4) Just burned the same album.flac with embedded .cue using Burrrn. Burrrn does it all, could see the embedded .cue, showed me the tracks, burnt the tracks AND unlike foobar burnt the CD-Text.

foo_burninate dosen't support CD-TEXT...

Since you have track titles showing up in fb2k, then the FLAC image has the cuesheet embedded in the VORBIS COMMENT metadata block and not in the CUESHEET metadata block(which strips all CD-TEXT info)...

I would recommend that you burn the image with Burrrn 1.14b2. Burrrn supports embedded cuesheet's in FLAC, WavPack and Monkey's Audio images.

Burrrn 1.14b2 :

If you don't want to use Burrrn, then download Synthetic Soul's ammended version of Tag and use this command line :

Tag --tocuea "enter path to file here"

This will output a cuesheet called "Filename.flac.cue"

Tag 2.0.45b9 :

Edit: While i wrote this post, directjj edited his to include paragraph 4, which makes this post totally redundant...

I was skeptical of Burrrn and pschologically committed to using Nero for everything (I hate Roxio except their 5.0 Jewel Case Labeler) but I find Burrn to be very very nice.

I recommend people try it.
