Integrated search panel like itunes in foobar 0.9?

I want a search panel like the one in itunes, is this possible in 0.9 beta 13, and if, how? If not, what is the easiest way to do it in 0.8.3?

I've searched around a bit, installed columns_ui, but I didn't figure out how to add the search panel.

I don't think there's a way yet to get the exact behavior of itunes (where you type in your search string and as you type, the main window displays only those songs which match).  One route you can go is foo_playlistfind for 0.8.3, which will simply highlight a song if it matches your search string, and you can jump through all the matches.

Playlist tree panel or album list panel for columns ui will get you closest but not exactly like iTunes.

I need to make a text file with a copy and paste answer for this query.

dbsearch is what you're looking for, only I'm not sure how to get it integrated... I'd really like it to be a tab (uie_tabs)... if anyone knows how to do this please let me know.

I installed album_list_panel for 0.9 beta, but how do I make a search toolbar appear?
So, no integrated search for 0.9 beta 13, only 0.8.3 right?

For a search bar functionality you need playlist find. I don't know if it's available fot 0.9 yet.

When the 0.9 final and SDK comes out, do you think someone will make a proper itunes like search toolbar?
