New Fraunhofer MP3 ACM codec

Has anybody tested the new Fraunhofer MP3 ACM codec, the one from Windows Media Player 10 (3.3.2.44) ?

How it compares with the previous Radium hack (1.2.0.63)
FastEnc ?
fastencc 1.02 ?

What about high frequencies (above 16kHz) ?

Guys, Fraunhofer codecs ONLY, please

Since when are we talking quality when we are talking FhG ?

Since we understood that its drums and cymbals' encodes were much better than those of lame

It seems interesting to test the new fhg...
Does installing wmp10 have any negatifve effects on my system?
I havent used any wmp since, well, i believe i have never used it

No need to install the player if you do not want to.

besides having default settings that can be argued about, it will make your computer catch fire every now and then (preferable on thursdays at 12:36 PM), thus forcing global warming leading to the end of mankind.

I once installed a small winxp update which totaly screwed up my perfectly running system, and i dont really feel like fixing my windows today.  So excuse me for asking

bad thing that. no update ever made my own system break, but I guess it could be very well be the case with others.

On several samples this codec made my ears itchy 

..edit, but it was probably the weather and the wax,
im sure its great, its the very latest 
no conscience > no custom
