Song that they play at sporting events..

There is some song that they play a lot at sporting events of different kinds and sometimes on radio stations if they are having some kind of TD (technical difficulties). I cannot explain it very well except that it is all synth., no singing or anything, pretty fasted paced..

I have tried to ID that song for years..

edit: It isn't that song that they play when your team scores.

Do you mean the one that starts with:

"Let's get ready to rummmmbllllle!!!!"

I have no idea what its called perhaps try seaching for "Let's get Ready to Rumble."  It is certainly often played at sporting events I'm not sure about Radio stations playing it when they have technical difficulties but I don't ever remember tuning into a radio station and hearing that they are undergoing technical difficulties so perhaps this song is often played in that circumstance.  Although I think its an odd choice for such a thing.

Try searching for that one anyway, I think it doesn't always have that at the beginning and it is the only thing I can think of that fits your description at all.

Is it "Sirius" by Alan Parsons Project?  That song is all synth and the intro loop is used at many sporting events, basketball in particular.

hmm, your description doesn't really fit in too well (all synth., no singing or anything, pretty fasted paced), but just to be sure... it wouldn't happen to be the allmighty
"Garry Glitter - Rock'n Roll part 2"?
Nothing but a Heartache - Since I found my Baby ;)

1 kHz pure tone sinewave!?    Praga Khan - Mortal Combat Theme?  Not really sure on this one you might need to record it for us.

that is a "true" jock jam  .  Nobody really know's what happened to part 1 either, they think some civilization hi-jacked it and is now using it in their own interplanetary sporting events.

Absolutely no vocals?  Not even an occasional, "woo?"

I'm almost certain I know the tune you're talking about.  Find Twilight Zone by 2Unlimited and let us know if that's the one.

I've got two songs i think you could mean:

"2 Unlimited - Get Ready"
"Van Halen - Jump"

both have a quite long and well-known instrumental part often is used as a loop for such events.

I've listened to samples of all of those except for the 2Unlimited ones and none of them are the song I'm looking for.

Still looking for samples.. I might try to hum it and upload it, as kjoonlee said.

I am pretty sure that the song that you are looking for is kinda techno-sounding.  It's called Zombie Nation by DJ SCRIBBLE, it's all techno and has no words, but is definately something that they play are Raves and other dance/sports events.  IF that is not it, try Woo-Hoo by Blur, but that one has lyrics, so that may not be it.

Best of luck.
