Nvidia SoundStorm + Realtek ALC650

I have an Asus A7N8X-E Deluxe motherboard which uses the Nvidia nForce2 MCP-T Southbridge combined with Realtek ALC650 Codec to provide me with sound.

I'm pretty sure Asus implementation of the MCP-T combined with the Realtek codec is pretty good, as the sound coming out of it is not bad at all.

I was just wondering if there are some settings I can adjust to optimize the output from foobar2000 v0.8

I can't use kernel streaming for example, is there any way to get that working with my setup?
This is the link to the codec: http://www.realtek.com.tw/products/product...aspx?modelid=30
It says that the codec has a 20bit DAC, but I'm guessing the software drivers only provide 18bit output?

Thanks for any help.

Foobar is one kickass music player

I just tried foo_output_asio(dll).dll v0.37 and it works beautifully with this setup.

Guess I don't need kernel streaming anymore
