How to identify a font?

I feel awkward to ask it on HA.ORG, but I know what I am searching was discussed on HA.org during last monthes. There were links to websites, where you can enter an URL of image with some text on it and those websites identify fonts used on images. I can't find out that poll. Can anybody help me?

Can't find the HA thread, but are you looking for something like WhatTheFont? Or maybe FontMatcher?
