Exact Audio Copy or CDex

I just bought a new mp3 player and am starting to learn about ripping music from a cd to a mp3 format.  I have now tried both CDex and EAC.  The CDex seems to be alittle easier for the beginner.  My question is which one ultimately, if either, will do the best job?  I do not mind learning EAC if it will do a better job.

Thanks,

Lon

EAC. Without a doubt.
