just found this fix on the internet for the Recode 2 (no DD 5.1/2.0 decoder bug)

If Recode 2 keeps asking for a plugin, just do this:
  Start Nero Start Smart
  Click on the big Nero icon (upper left corner)
  Delete any/all keys
  Add your key back in
  Done!  Fixed!
