Pioneer DVR-106

I bought my self a Pioneer DVR-106 and I use Nero 6,the problem is that i only
can burn CD-R in 2x and CD-RW in 1x,why?I use TDK DVD-R and RW.

howdy,

The problem is that the drive doesn't think that the media can support the speed your trying to burn at.

What you need to do is head over to Pioneer Website and download the most up to date firmware for your drive.
(WARNING: IF THE FIRMWARE UPDATE FAILS, YOUR DRIVE COULD BE SCREWED)

or

find some media that the drive "knows" will burn at 4X

I have the latest firmware from Pioneer,I´ll try some other media tomorrow.
I have a Nvida2 Motherboard.
