How do I create a text panel?

I lost my previous Foobar setup and am rebuilding. I can't remember how to create a text box that will show artist/title etc. of the currently playing song. (see attached screenshot from the past). I have Text Display UI Element (2nd screenshot) and I can create a panel for an equalizer or whatever, but don't know how to change it to a text panel. Can anyone give a newbie some instructions?

The old "Text Display" component is only for Default UI. Your second screenshot shows you are using Columns UI, this comes with its own text panel called "Item Details".

In CUI you can create a layout in Preferences > Display > Columns UI > Layout by right-clicking on the tree items and inserting splitters and panels underneath them. So right-click on a splitter and add an "Item Details" panel. Then back in foobar you can right-click this panel and Options (if I recall) to customize which fields you want it to display.
