Primary domain change, back to hydrogenaudio.org

The hydrogenaud.io domain was originally registered as failsafe / temporary measure. We kept it for over a decade, while redirecting from original hydrogenaudio.org.
Today I have reverted this change - hydrogenaud.io now redirects to hydrogenaudio.org
Everything should work as before. No, I'm not getting rid of the .io domain, but I do not want geopolitics to possibly affect our operation, potentially causing someone totally not affiliated with us to take domain being linked from many places on the internet.
Microsoft Windows: We can't script here, this is bat country.

I wonder anyone else being immediately logged out from this forum when the domain changed from hydrogenaud.io to hydrogenaudio.org, needing to log in again

Yes
It's your privilege to disagree, but that doesn't make you right and me wrong.

That would be correct, cookies are stored per site.

AFAIU that's normal. The information about your login is stored in cookies for .io domain and they are not sent when talking to  .org domain. So when redirection was turned off, you are no longer logged in. If you manually change the address  to .io domain, you should still be logged in there.
