CDex 1.4

CDex is a freeware application, which is able to extract audio tracks from a CD-ROM digitally, and save those files to disk as either regular WAV file or MP3 files.

I'm still waiting for John to appear on ICQ, so that we can discuss this subject. :-P

This release is mostly good news, but, in my view, not totally. The lame dll is basically the one I proposed back at the beginning of February, but is now slightly out of date in regard to the --alt-preset ABR stuff.

Although I haven't tested it fully, I think that all the alt presets probably work the way intended, but because the dialog screen remains mostly active when selecting the alt presets, it gives the impression that you can effect changes to the settings. This is misleading because all the settings are hard coded and any changes made will be over-written.

So, do we keep my modified version, or not, that is the question. Whether 'tis nobler....... Sorry, got carried away there for a minute!
Seriously, though, do you want us to maintain my version, or leave it to the official version? Functionally, I don't think there is any difference, the only real difference in the CDex versions is cosmetic. I will maintain the dll, because the 'official' one is slightly out of date!

Opinions would be most welcome.

CDex isn't bad but people should just use EAC. Surely when wanting to post albums online.
