updated foobar2000 - lost column browser composer column

I had a very old version of foobar (like 5 years). I was using a column browser similar to ITunes. I need a Genre, Artist, Composer and Album fields. The Composer is very critical. I don't remember how I installed the column browser. I just updated foobar2000 to the latest and lost the column browser. I tried adding Facets but there's no Composer column and I don't know how to add it. Honestly I'm very confused now about how setting up my UI works now.

How can I get a column browser with a Composer column?

Your foobar2000 v2.0 is 32bit, right?

Please try while looking at the wiki once.
Ask what you don't understand or can't do.

I installed Foobar 2.0 64 bit.

I figured it out. The main issue was that the Facets documentation says you have to be in layout editing mode to change the visible columns, but I learned that you have to NOT be in layout editing mode to change the visible columns.

Another question I have about Foobar 2.0 is this: I need bit-perfect transfer to the sound device. Does the "exclusive" modes in the output selection do that? Previously I was getting the best sound on WASAPI (event) but that has disappeared. How does 2.0 work? Is WASAPI obsolete now?

Thanks,
Mike

Facets does not support 64bit.
Instead we have ReEacets.

foobar2000 Preferences > Media Library > ReFacets
--------
foobar2000 change log
https://www.foobar2000.org/changelog

1.6.7
-Built-in WASAPI exclusive output.
Output: Device [exclusive]

1.6
-Default output mode is now WASAPI shared.

Should I not be using Foobar 2.0 if I want WASAPI event? I noticed there is a WASAPI component but it's compiled for 32 -bit. Should I be using the 32 bit version of Foobar 2.0?

"How do you use ReFacets?" Continue here?

If you've used Facets, it's intuitive.
Preferences > Media Library > ReFacets > Columns

Simply select an output labeled [exclusive] - this is WASAPI Event by default. The old component is deprecated / no longer needed.

(And incidentally if your DAC needs WASAPI Push - File > Preferences > Advanced > Playback > enable 'Exclusive output overrides' > disable 'Use event' = Push)

You can stay on v2 64-bit if you prefer, just note old components that have not been updated in years will only work on 32-bit, so depends on what you want to use. See release notes.

Okay thanks, that's what I need, to know that the [exclusive] mode is WASAPI event. I got Refacets to work so I guess I'll stay on 64-bit.
Thanks everyone. Is it possible to give you guys thanks or a +1?
