Cannot update tags on MP3s hosted on a Macbook Pro: I/O Error (Win32 #87)

Greetings,
I frequently use my Windows 10 and 11 PCs to play music and edit tags with Foobar from files hosted on my Macbook Pro 2011 (Mac OS High Sierra 10.13.6). All the computers are connected to my LAN with Ethernet cables. Playback works fine for all file types, however when editing tags within Foobar on the PCs, I cannot update .mp3 files that are hosted on the Mac.  I receive the following error: "One file could not be updated: I/O Error (Win32 #87)" .  This is strange because I am able to edit tags for .m4a, .flac, .wav, and .aiff files in Foobar on the PC.   I can update .mp3 tags using the windows properties window under the details tab and with other apps, such as TagScanner.

Previously I had no issues when updating .mp3 tags from my PC with files hosted on my 2009 Macbook Pro running Yosemite OSX 10.10.

Are there any settings I could try to adjust? It's a minor inconvenience but something I would like to fix.
