Playing From pCloud

My NAS device died, and I have replaced it with pCloud storage.  My entire audio library now exists in pCloud My Music directory.  Under Windows 10 I have pCloud drive installed that maps my cloud storage to my P: drive.  I have updated fb2k configuration, and my library now references my P: drive.  This all works, and fb2k plays from pCloud; however, I will occasionally encounter delays when the next song in my playlist starts.  I am listening to fb2k right now, and it is very inconsistent.  I just heard a song switch to a new one, and it was instant with zero delays.  Some of the time I am waiting seconds for a new song to start to play.

Can anyone suggest any settings changes that may help improve my playback experience?  Perhaps a way to load the next song sooner rather than later for gapless playback?  I realize that this will not account for all possible scenarios, but my typical use case is playing a shuffled playlist without skipping.  Is there I way I can have fb2k start loading the next song at say 50% of the current song's playback?

Here are my current advanced settings below.  I did increase read ahead buffer to 512k:

Incidentally, the pCloud upload queue is 100% empty.  No uploads are happening while attempting to play music.  I know that uploads will slow down downloads, but this is not currently happening.  I do have skip track running, but nothing is being skipped at all.  This would not explain the delay.  Attached is the console log.  The current song playing did have a bit of a delay before playback started.  It's a 66.4MB FLAC file.  It seems the larger the file the more likely the delay will happen.

A new even larger file just started playback, and there was zero delay.  This was what I meant by inconsistent.  The file that just started is 91MB, and there was zero delay.

If your files are stored remotely and accessed using the Internet, then you are subject to causes of delay which are beyond your control.  AFAIK fb2k does not load a file ahead of demand, so any delay in the file access will delay the start of a track.
It's your privilege to disagree, but that doesn't make you right and me wrong.

Did you try increasing the buffer under Playback > Output? (not Advanced) - say 10000 ms (10 seconds) or so...

It looks like you have the original Waveform Seekbar installed (?) which is caching the waveform the first time it plays the track. I'm not exactly sure if it works this way behind the scenes, but it could possibly be downloading the track a second time to scan it (besides the one foobar is playing), causing a delay. On subsequent plays of the same track it could be faster since it reads from the cache, and you should see the waveform appear instantly. (I've always been curious about this since I have it scan waveforms from foo_youtube tracks and of course it has to get the whole track for that; the waveform usually appears about halfway through the track)

Good point.  I have experienced a delay before a track starts playing, while Waveform Minibar creates the waveform image, despite it being set to prioritise playback over waveform creation.  It's not repeatable, and doesn't happen every time.

This looks like the answer.  I had it set to 5000, and I increased it to 10000.  I was watching console log output while playing, and it looks like fb2k is now reading the next file 10 seconds before the current file ends.

It looks like there are occasional delays with fb2k reading from pCloud Drive.   These delays can be lengthy at times which may explain the issue I was running into.  I am doing a playlist import and not even playing music, and the import dialog is stuck on a specific file for what looked like a couple of minutes.

Out of curiosity, pCloud has a documented API here:  https://docs.pcloud.com/

Is it possible to have pCloud support via a new component based on the API above?  I realize no such component exists today, but I am curious on whether or not it is possible.
