How to lock the column headers of the Foobar window to the same spot?

I am talking about the standard skin with the playlist and stuff like artist, track number, title, etc. I just want these columns to stop resizing each time I put a new playlist in or open and close the program. I dont need them to resize. They should always be the same.

You would think this should be easy but I for the life of me cannot find a solution in google and anywhere inside the program and I have been using it for YEARS. I honestly just stopped bothering long time ago but this must be possible no? Cant believe I make a thread for something so simple on paper...

However, it does NOT work and there is no such option in the foobar settings. Maybe it changed with an update?

I use ColumnsUI, and for each column you can set "Width" and "Size weight". If you set Size weight to 0, the column will never resize and it will stay at the width specified.

In the default UI, have you tried un-checking "Auto-Scale Columns with Window Size" (right-click header bar->Columns)?

Yes, but it makes no difference.

I guess this is some kind of plugin? So doesnt it work with the default player?

With the auto-scale option unchecked I can't get the column widths to change unless I change them myself. To make sure I don't have a plugin effecting the column widths, I installed a fresh, portable version of foobar2000 to see what would happen.

Adding playlists, restarting foobar2000 and changing the size of the window doesn't change the column widths. When the size of the fb2k window is reduced, I get a scrollbar instead of the column widths changing.

Am I misunderstanding the problem?
