Do VST plugins down sample in Foobar 2000?

First post for me :) I Searched on this thread and the 3rd party plugin thread on 'sample' but did not bumbed into this topic. I am playing DXD files (24 bit / 352kHz) and use an equalizer VST plugin - VST Kjaerhus Audio Golden Equalizer GEQ-7 - that handles sample rates up to 192 kHz. When I play a DXD file and have this plugin activated in the DSP manager, my DAC - Chord electronics MOJO - still shows it receives a 352kHz data stream. This is remarkable there the plugin only supports up to 192kHz  :o Could some one please explain me what happens in Foobar?

Not sure about the sample rates, but there are much better free EQ plugins available these days, and the guy behind Kjaerhus is a convicted paedophile currently doing time:

A couple of other good options for graphic style EQs, both free:

And an excellent free parametric EQ:

Thanks so much for the suggested free eq plugins. The parametric one I already use for my own recordings.
