It appears to be an mp3 file in some kind of container file format I've never seen before. I wrapped it in an mka (matroska) container using mkvmerge and foobar2000 has no problem tagging it.

To me as well but did you have success tagging it?

I can see tags in this file and can add/change/remove them.

The question was, "how to display the metadata of this file - name - title - album - date - etc...   in Foobar Columns UI"

I would help, but I don't use CUI.

If that's the case then the question is  too vague and why would he upload a sample  in a strange file format for that? OP?

I'm with Porcus -- it looks to me like an ordinary MP3. And like lvqcl, I can successfully fiddle with the tags.

My guess is that the question is how to get metadata to show in a ColumnsUI playlist.

When updating tags withing foobar on this file this is what I get:
"Could not update tags (Unsupported file format) on:
"D:\Audio.ashx""

When changing the ashx  extension (which appears to be an ASP.NET file format) to mp3 tags are visible and perfectly workable. Did all your browser download it as mp3 then because mine sure didn't. Hence probably the confusion.

My browser (Edge) downloaded it as an MP3.

I don't think it matters, but I updated tags via the dBpoweramp "Edit ID-Tag" dialog and also its "ID-Tag" tab in the Properties dialog. I didn't use foobar because the file isn't in my music library.

The point is that the drag link at the window Foobar, I have only Title: Audio and Bitrate: 320

Maybe there is a plugin?

Then it is a stream and has no tags? foobar2000 only supports MP3 either:

1) No reported length: Supports Shoutcast or Icecast metadata blocks, and that's all.
2) Fixed reported length and seeking: Supports ID3v1, ID3v2, and APEv2 tags.

It does appear to be #2, but the redirect goes to a "206 Partial Content" result with the full contents of the file. It probably does not support seeking, which is required for reading tags off a remote link.

You'll have to download it to a local file to see the tags.
