why i can't save as mp3 in total recorder

hi folks,

i installed and registered the latest version of total recorder.  when saving the file, i can only save as wav. i cannot save as mp3.

anybody who knows the reason?

Total Recorder Standard Edition records streaming audio and sound card inputs. Recordings are saved to the hard-drive in .wav (compressed or uncompressed) mp3 or Ogg format. Convert different sound formats to .wav, mp3 and Ogg.

I have no idea why this doesn't work for you. I think you should contact their technical support.

The feature is there.

@aaronzhang: The program can output MP3 files, but it doesn't include an encoder. You either need to have the FhG ACM encoder installed, or place an encoding DLL (lame_enc.dll or bladeenc.dll) in TotalRecorder's dir.

Once you put the DLL there, the option to save to MP3 will be enabled.

i downloaded a lame encoder dll file and the problem was settled!!!
