Problems with M-Audio USB Quattro and Winamp 2.91?

I've been having a problem for a while now with the newest drivers for M-Audio's USB Quattro and Winamp 2.91. When I first got the thing the only driver available was 1.26. That worked fine with winamp but caused my ASIO applications to stop outputting audio after a few minutes which was always completely annoying as you can imagine. I downloaded the beta 1.28rc5 driver and it fixed that problem, but now whenever I use Winamp the audio doesn't output on initial play (but seems to be decoding properly). When I stop it, wait 5 seconds, and press play then I hear audio just fine. This also sometimes happens when I leave winamp stopped for 10 minutes to an hour.

It's strange because winamp doesn't give any error messages, and looks like it's playing the audio just fine, but I hear no audio...

Have you tried a different version of Winamp? Do you have a Via USB controller?
