Migration to another system

Is there an option available to copy over the complete configuration of a foobar2000 installation to another? The installed version is the same. Look&feel, plugins (incl. their settings) etc. If not, what can be copied over, that you don't have to config everything from scratch?

If you had a portable install then you just transfer the entire program folder.

For a normal install, open explorer and enter this in the address bar

%appdata%

There will be a folder named foobar2000-v2 (or foobar2000 for old versions). Copy this folder to a usb stick or whatever.

Now run the fb2k installer on the new pc. Don't run it yet. Now copy the folder from the usb stick into the %appdata% folder on the new pc. That's it.

So start the installer, pause, copy the folder and resume the installer?

I meant run the installer and finish it but don't the run the program when it's done. Sorry if that bit was confusing. Then copy the folder and then run the app.

Migration should be in the wiki ...

Here is a different question to it: Migrate settings to a Windows Store install?
(Work computer. They consider Windows Store apps jolly good safe.)
