CUE file wont split tracks

Hi, I have a cue file that is mean to be for 2 flac files. It is a rip from an LP so I have side A and B flacs and a single cue file for both. When I upload the cue file in Medieval cue splitter, the tracks from both are listed, gaps and all. However once I begin splitting the splitter finishes in a second and I only get a single file that is has 4 seconds duration and it is labelled as the first track. Is something wrong with the cue file and how can I fix this? Thanks.

That software may work on some other compression formats but it does not split FLAC properly. I wouldn't use it for source FLAC files (unless you plan to decode to wav first, split the wav file(s), then encode to resulting files to FLAC). Personally, I wouldn't use the software at all.

The bit depth or sampling rate of the source files may be a problem for the software. It might be able to read the CUE sheet but not the audio files.

You didn't post the CUE so I can't say if anything is wrong there.

How do you upload a file here? Looking around the reply options I cannot seem to find it. The original uploader of the files I have said the decoding program he used was ProTools LE.

See [a href='index.php?showtopic=3974']TOS#9[/a].
The CUE is text. Copy the text content of the file using a text editor (such as notepad). Select 'Insert: CODEBOX' from the 'Insert Special Item' drop-down list and paste the text in the box.
