Cropping The Length Of A FLAC?

Forgive me, I'm an iTunes convert and am just getting started with Foobar, and what it can do.

I know that iTunes gives you the properties for a song, and you can shorten the length the song plays on a consistent basis.  Is there a way to do that in Foobar, or do I need an external audio editor to trim the song, and then resave the file as something else?

foo_skip can make foobar2000 skip the part in the beginning or end, if you want to, but with manual tagging.

The component also offers functionality to skip only parts of a track. To utilize the partial skipping set a tag field SKIP with timecodes that you want skipped. For example SKIP=0:00:00-0:01:25 (or simply SKIP=-0:01:25) to skip the first 85 seconds.
