Playback audio cutting out. Windows 8, Schiit Magni and Modi AMP/DAC

So I just upgraded my PC and started new, and just brought my music and FB2K stuff along. One problem that's cropped up in my audio set up is that the USB connected sound keeps randomly playing and it'll cut through the music and freeze it up a bit. Other times it would just stop the audio altogether. I'm running version 1.2.3, since I can't figure out how to download 1.2.8 and get my theme and other stuff onto the 1.2.8 build.

As the rules ask, what is your output method?

I presume this problem does not occur with any other program?

The music playback doesn't occur with anything else, but the USB connection/disconnect noise does play randomly when I have my entire set up of Computer > Modi DAC > Magni Amp > headphones. If I disconnect the DAC the USB connect/disconnect noise stops.

The playback actually stops entirely, and then if I try to pause or play or anything I get:
Unrecoverable playback error: Unknown error code (0x8889000F)

The USB disconnect noise plays both when the playback stops and when the error code pops up.

However, it seemed that the audio was going to the "primary audio driver" and not the DAC, after switching it the error took longer to kick in. \
Running on 1.2.8 the error stops, but the USB noise still plays randomly.

Nevermind, same freezing up on 1.2.8 occurs as well, as well as after disconnecting the DAC/AMP and just running through the PC. After some playback, usually during the same song, the song will freeze. So the problem looks to be a conflict between windows 8 and FB2K.

The output was set to primary sound driver.

All the USBs I have connected are:
The two USBs needed to use my keyboard, Razer Black widow ultimate I believe.
The two USBs for me to use the mic/headphone jacks on my keyboard as opposed to the PC.
My TP-Link Wireless adapter
My Razer ouroborus mouse
NO DAC/Amp connected and the problem is still occuring.

It is ONLY the "device connect" sound that plays randomly, and still does.

I'm downloading winamp right now to see if the playback problem is present there too. I still have no idea what to do about the USB connected sound playing constantly and sporadically.
